Well I think there are some areas of science where we need to be cautious about advancing too far down. Modern day Christianity is one of the few forces in the Western world which helps restrain us a bit.

That's a long way from the stranglehold on science it had in the Dark Ages though.

And where did the advanced techonological and military stuff come from? It didn't fall out of the sky, you know. During the Middle Ages Europe advanced much quicker than the rest of the world. As the stranglehold of fundamentalist Christianity reduced Europeans were given more freedom to explore science and the natural world, thus they started inventing things.

Actually, I've read some news articles about an interviewer who got raped because she was white and they had never gotten the chance to rape a white foreigner.

that is extremely simplified way of looking at things... the west came out on top in the arms race when land masses over the globe were still being fought over, and thanks to superior fire power the west took advantage of pretty much the rest of the world. That is essentially how the west got lined up for the cushy world we live in... but looking at the average citizens i encounter on the streets they don't deserve to live in the west, they are just lucky to be born there

there were never any black slaves any more than there were slaves taken by other people. dont let them play on your moral conscience. blacks are not the innocent victims of bad white people. whites fed, housed, cured, healed, clothed, educated far more blacks than blacks killed each other.
