Oh, and it's impressive how much she moves around and jumps, and can sing so amazingly well at the same time! She has such a great breath control! I really don't understand why people usually underestimate her singing abilities... She's so much better than many singers out there! Plus, she does have a naturally beautiful vocal timbre, so she doesn't have to fake her voice all the time or use studio effects in order to make her it sound differently, like other singers do! :)

Wow, amazing performance! Though, it wasn't the video that I was speaking of. There was another live version where she did sing C#6 in chest voice, it sounded much more powerful than the C6 in this video, and it also had a more ''chesty'' sound. This C6 was probably in mixed voice, but the C#6, I could swear it was in chest voice. And if it wasn't, then she must have had a very, very good technique and so much power in her mixed voice, that it sounded exactly like pure chest voice.

Like A Prayer was just a precursor. The album sold 4 million copies in America and 20 million worldwide. A perfect comeback. Of course, it couldn't have happened without a PERFECT ALBUM.

While it didn't hit #1, a position Celine Dion, Garth Brooks and the Backstreet Boys had that came out at the time, it hit #2 and sold 371,000 copies, a record first week for a female artist at the time. She took home award after award for it, and the real vindication came when she took home FOUR Grammies for the album. Finally she was recognized as a serious artist.

The soundtrack and Don't Cry For Me Argentina became hits. But the real treat was this: Madonna was never the best vocalist, but after voice training for the film she had a rich and more powerful voice. She also had a daughter and decided to make her comeback to her popularity in the 80's in the late 90's. Ray Of Light was released to rave reviews in the spring of 1998 which was like a career best.

The album was a big improvement from Erotica. In 1996, Madonna lobbied for and won the coveted role of Evita. While the people of Argentinia weren't so thrilled with the idea of a woman of such a career playing a woman they'd consider a goddess and saint, Madonna remedied that. She gave a stunning performance, one that got her a Golden Globe.

Bedtime Stories peaked at #3 and started falling fast. Within a month it had dropped to #33. Secret, the album's first single, stopped the freefall. Slowly the album began to creep up again. Then came Take A Bow. It became one of Madonna's biggest singles of her career spending seven weeks on top. It was the first sign that there was still life in Madonna.
