James McMurtry "We can't make it here"

I reckon a real genuine artist creates the music that he himself was waiting to hear from somebody else. James Mcmurtry may never be famous but he never compromised his art for the sake of the masses. I saw James in Whelans in Ireland and I had a few words with the man. I was a bit drunk though. It was as good a show as I've ever seen. Sometimes I feel that it's a tragedy that the music never achieved the recognition that it absolutely deserves. I also feel priveleged to have found it.

Vote libertarian. Decrease Federal Government.

Smaller government isn't the cure. The cure is to break the corporations control over the government.

The corporations chase government, because government keeps growing. The government is very inefficient. US Post Office looses 8 billion a year. FedEx and UPS couldn't afford to loose that in a year. Their stock-holders would sell and they would go out of business. "Hate the man that sent the jobs away" that is the consumer....they demand lower-priced products, so to compete jobs have to go over seas.
