"STREET THE BEAT" WAS A BAND OF LATINO EX-GANG MEMBERS FROM THE SOUTH BRONX WHO GOT TOGETHER TO PROVE THAT YOU CAN GET OUT OF GANGS AND DO SOMETHING POSITIVE WITH YOUR LIFE!
THE BAND CONSISTED OF BROTHERS BENJY, ROBERT AND THE "LATE" VICTOR ON HIS CUSTOM DRUMS AND MANNY CORTEZ. AFTER MANNY LEFT HE WAS REPLACED BY A COUSIN, DAVID SILVER. AT ONE TIME THEY WERE CALLED THE JUNIOR BEATLES. HERE THEY ARE WITH DAVID SILVER, PERFORMING A BEATLES CLASSIC ON BLEEKER STREET IN MANHATTAN IN 1984. THEY WERE A GREAT GROUP!
