http://www.youtube.com/user/pitbull1952 M.Z..E.T.Z. 251 project first start up and update on the jawa r.t. 350 engine change . New engine for the jawa r.t. 350 will be the type 632 iron cylinder type engine similar to the jawa type 634 but has alternater for 12 volt electrics and will fit the jawa 638 without engine mount modifications unlike the jawa type 634 which has 6 volt dynamo . C.Z. 250 project only Chainguard to fabricate , At some point in the future i'll be fabricating the girder forks as it seems impossible to find original so the telescopic forks now fitted will stay with the c.z. project till i've had the c.z. on the road for the first year .

  • Hi Terry! Now you have a great project bike! I really prefer the german one. They are built much better than the turkish versions. If I buy MZ again in future I would like to try ETZ 125/150. Just for a commuter. :-)

  • @twostrokesmoker

Yes i think they are a great bike .

I've only ridden a 251 once before but found it very responsive and good in traffic .

  • @terence20001 I have to agree that the MZ is much more like you said "responsive" than in a Jawa. Engine have a good gas response but in my opinion rev's feel like to die a bit too early. In 301 model engine dies in about 5900rpm. Maybe with a different exhaust that can be solved. :) MZ engine have also a annoying feature of "back kikcing"(sorry I don't know the correct english word)when turning the throttle off. I think that the main reason for it is the lack of reed valve...

  • Thanks for stopping by my brother is always good to hear from you you have a great week God bless you and the family TG out for now thanks again brother stopping by LLH&R

  • @terence20001

    All the best

    Terry
