I wrote an essay in college about how Hip Hop and Rap music was used by rappers like Grandmaster Flash to expose the negative impact that drugs, crime, poverty and so on had on the Black community. So-called white people took control of Hip Hop and then used it to perpetuate negative stereotypes of Black people. White people control black peoples music and use it and other mediums as negative propaganda against black people.
