Making Chimicherrychangas!

After seeing the most recent episode of "My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic," entitled "The Last Roundup," my friend and I were inspired to try our hands at creating our own recipe for Pinkie Pie's cherrychangas, a.k.a. chimicherries, a.k.a. chimicherrychangas (see here: http://youtu.be/7Qk-IiG9i_A ).

This video demonstrates our first-time approach to this tasty treat. I'm sure there are things we could have done differently. For example, we might have tried a different method for frying the things; but hey, it's a fictional food anyway, right? Bottom line, they ended up being fantastically delicious, and that's what counts! ;) Oh, one thing I neglected to mention in the video: we also diced up an apple to add to the cherries and strawberries in the filling, just for a little somethin' extra.

The concept of chimicherrychangas, of course, comes from Pinkie Pie, who belongs to Hasbro, Inc. The credit for this particular recipe, however, all goes to my friend EllieDachshi (http://www.furaffinity.net/user/elliedachshi/ )! She worked the magic. I just recorded. :P

@ithrowfeces Why do you throw feces? Some questions were never meant to be answered... But anyway, they tasted terrific! Very sweet, so they're definitely more of a "dessert" item.

I could watch this guy make food all day. He is like the Bob Ross of cooking, and he is a brony as well.

However, all that oil at the end is just disgusting. There is no need for so much oil, it could have been done with a very thin layer of oil that would barely cover the pan.

@Lanovran fine... practice makes perfect. BTW, the salt is for if you use it for le plat de resistance, and for something sweet like this, replace it with sugar. (yes, I cook for my familly, mom says it is important to learn)

@todiwan i thought he couldve fried them for longer it didnt really brown them as your supposed to do with frying it just soaked the cherry chongas in cooking oil
