Shane and Cheryl's Cross Canada Adventure Day One

Day One of our cross Canada Road trip. On October 14 th, 2009 we left Toronto, Ontario heading to Vancouver, British Columbia. Along for the ride are our Dashboard Family. Herman The Snail, Edward The Polar Bear, Joanne The Crab, Martha The Red Fish and Lester The Killer Whale. A pit stop in Perry Sound lead to an unexpected detour that lead to me having to turn around in some kind of industrial parking lot in the middle of nowhere. I think it was the entrance to a quarry or something like that. The only other vehicles on the road were dump trucks filled with rock. Pulling over many more times along the way to pee, we ended up stopping in Sudbury, Ontario for the first night, eventually finding a hotel.
