federer god as always but nice james

3:49 slam dunk fail

that federer forehand at 2:32 is the one he has trouble with as he's aged....his footwork has slowed just slightly and is unable to get around enough to hit a winner like that

blake's a fuckin madman

blake is running like a dog

How things have changed...unfortunately. What Federer struggles the most with these days is consistency. It's sad to see that Fed has become such a hit or miss player in the later rounds. Granted even at his worst, he'll still beat 95% of the tour buts its the top guys he's losing to because of this inconsistency and its the tops that that are very often waiting for him in the latter rounds of the slams.
To all, just go watch Fed play in person before he retires, its amazing

Tennis can get any better than Federer '06! His only loses came to Nadal (4) and Murray (1) that year!

It might just be me, but Fed looks a little slower in this match. I know he's not one of the fastest players, though he does have absolutely brilliant movement and shot awareness, but in a lot of the points, it looks like he's not putting in as much effort as he normally would. Perhaps the humidity and weather conditions at Miami during this time was sapping him? In any case, awesome video.

The matches between Blake and Federer are always so close, poor Blake.

hes the most unstable commentator out there, first hes in love with federer, then he sais roger has "no balls" (when facing) nadal at the french open, then he jumps on the murray bandwagon, falls in love with nadal and suddenly he sais federer is playing his best tennis at 30
I remember him being one of the first commentators calling Federer the goat (even before he won the french open) and then after the swiss he wins rolland garros he sais that hes still not the best
wilander for the win
roger just has superior ability, shot placement and better all court game, especially volleys..his net game makes a lot of difference compared to many players , who are basically baseliners, with only reasonable volleys..

That's true, but that's also why he's so much more inconsistent compared to Fed. Blake actually plays a very similar style to Federer but no where near as consistent. Blake can match Fed forehand to forehand, but it's always high risk with Blake (hit or miss). When Blake hits a flat forehand it's probably one of the best in the world, but Federer's IS the best in the world because he very rarely ever misses it. Fed plays with much more margin for error. He also has better shot selection.
