He moved up 32lbs in 3 months at 36 years old and lasted 7 rounds.. And it was only the second time (And only other time) he was wasn't taken the distance in a losing effort. Also, that wasn't really an important fight for him. The important ones he lost were Michael Spinks (Being one of the greatest in that division) and Evander (Very close fight first time round). For a man with no amateur fights and starting at 25, he was great. And definitely not a loser

How many SECONDS would most guys last with Foreman? You are ignorant.

He might of just been coming to the end of his prime, but it would not of made any difference. Qawi's style was perfect for him. If MSM were a better boxer and could stick with it (He was lured into many a slug fest) he would of done better. Kind of like Tommy Hearns, could box, but loved to fight and cost him a few matches

You bother to remember his 5 losses and how they came about... And you don't want to be an encyclopedia? Seems reasonable ;)

Not trying to be an encyclopedia of mostly forgotten names here. I commented is all. Deal with it or let it go.

You could of easily mentioned Lou Savarese, Crawford Grimsley, Alex Stewart, Levi Forte and Roberto Davila. Who weren't known as much for their durability. Or the fact that seeing as he said "How many seconds" And many went into 4+ rounds on average

1# Ali in most minds is the greatest heavy ever (Next to Joe Louis)

2# Young was extremely underrated and only stopped twice in his career (Once by a cut from Cooney and of course, Earnie Shavers)

3# Stopped only twice, said he didn't know where he was during the 7th round of their fight and thought Foreman knocked all his front teeth out

4# Ran the entire fight and avoided engaging

5# Briggs, although had stamina/asthma problems, was extremely tough as well

I heard he wasn't in his prime at the time? But even if he was, I guess he just didn't have the style to beat Qawi.
