  • Sound and vision are out of synch from 07:40

I need to find a better version of this interview. He had mentioned many insightful things, but the sound quality was extremely poor.

  • yes, it's out of synch, sorry, youtube compression messed up with the video. I've uploaded the original file to archive dot org, check it.

  • I think the internet has changed lol...I've watched like over 20 interviews with him just today lol...I think I can handle a short film lol...I'm laying bed with my laptop though...So I'm not angry ..he is profound and immaculate

  • @viktorhat Yes and the Marshall McCluhan references and themes will certainly be lost since the film was about the television era and also the 80's, I recall Warhol quoting it as the Clockwork Orange of the 80's or something like that.Though it was Cronenberg's take on the televised sentient body or being. He would later use such a take on eXistenZ exploring our growing interaction with videogames. A fusion between television and viewer in Cronenberg's philosophical speculation can't be remade.

  • is cronenberg a fellow psy vamp? his career certainly has inspired me

  • Ungrateful asshole.

  • I wonder what he thinks about Universal remaking Videodrome?

  • He would be an excellent teacher.
