MegaMan X8: Item Hunt P8 - Pitch Black (Part 19)

Once again, X and Axl are needed. Equip a buster part for X as you're gonna need to use the Crystal Wall. Also, equip Foot Parts I.


Pitch Black:

[Rare Metal]:
After the first area of searchlights, you should see an enemy along with a health capsule near the left wall. Climb that left wall and you'll encounter a sleeping guard guarding a locked door. Find one of his friends and copy him with Axl. Return here, transform, and push the [special weapons button] to salute. Power up the generator with Axl using Gigabolt's weapon. Then use X to Crystal Wall the center of the room.

[Rare Metal]:
Once the power generator is back online, do not drop down yet. Instead, head back through the area where you've encountered the first searchlights. You should see platforms above you; the rare metal is on the last one.

[Item ????]:
Drop down and progress through the supposively second area filed with searchlights. Right before the door, there is are 2 platforms that appear to be unreachable by normal jumps. Use X with Foot Parts I to jump on the lower platform and grab the item that is offscreen on the higher platform. You could use Zero's double jump, but then you would have to come back here as Axl or X to get the other items.

[Body Parts H]:
There are several elevator rooms that have boxes on platforms and lasers shooting from the walls. In the last elevator room, climb up the wall instead of going down. There you will find the capsule.
