Infamous Schindler MT Elevator in Imperial Palace Las Vegas. There is no floor signal in these Schindler MT's. Two of the three elevators serves the penthouse, floor 19.

  • Nice elevator, and the speed is 700 FPM, gearless traction with RT fixtures.

  • @elevatorgeek762 I'd say this is a non-MRL gearless traction elevator, the type meant for high-rise buildings. MRL is meant for low-rise and medium rise, while geared traction is meant for medium-rise (although there are a few low-rise buildings with geared traction).

  • @elevatorgeek762 Geared traction doesn't go any faster than 500 FPM as they're meant to go no higher than 27 stories I believe.

  • @elevatorgeek762 MRL elevators didn't exist in 1989, and I don't think there are Schindler 400A MRL elevators with MT fixtures
