Honda Prelude vs Honda Civic @ Santa Pod

Me in my Honda Prelude 2.2 Vti racing James in his Honda Civic SiR at Santa Pod. I ran 15.724 and James did 16.510.

So, imma guess, all stock and that the prelude was Si Not Vtec

Prelude is vtec - uk spec 2.2 Vti.

Was my first time, road tyres are shot and its over 100k miles so unlikely to be running original hp. Book 1/4 mile is ~15.5.

type in MW prelude they did 14.6 when the car first came out.

just a tiny bit, and 14.6 is bullshit. my friend with a 96 vtec has intake header and exhaust, test pipe, KN filter, stage 2 ACT clutch and ACT prolight flywheel, with a perfect launch R/T was .010 spun a tiny bit and took off. he ran a 15.0 at 91 mph, 14.6 stock my ass. unless you are below sea level your not running 14.6 stock or anytime soon without some heavy upgrading

I posted that comment in response to the guy who said 15 second quarters were embarrassing, i actually have a Prelude and a bike, and id like him to come over to the UK and try and run a Camaro, and see if he can still afford shoes. Besides, the Camaro cannot take a corner.
