Quick update:

I missed 2010, but this year our friend inspired a dance party at the same location as in this video.

While most likely not spontaneous, the dance party this year was an obvious tribute.

Man this guy has so many haters. He likes the music, so he's dancing. I had no idea our society was so absorbed with people being "weird" that something as simple as that can't be accepted. All of you are so brain-washed with trying to fit in & not disrupt the flow. Grow up, life only comes around once. It's too short not to dance.

@101390 Besides the "he's on drugs" comments (which it's fair to say he probably was), I'm pleased to report that the overwhelming majority of comments have been in praise of him.

Having said that, the vast majority of "hater" comments have come from dance nazis hating on people who aren't always dancing.
