I started with an akai x7000 moved up to a MPC2000 then added a Triton, bought a PC within ^ months I had the sound turned down on the MPC and Triton and was rocking Kontakt and Cubase, I then discovered you could use the Waves VSTis in FL Studio, started using fruity for more than just drums, now Cubase is redundant Kontakt, FL Studio and Abelton Live for me.

@neworleansboy I swear niggas think the MPC runs on tape or fuckn vinyl. MPC's run on software and store information in 1's and 0's. I can't understand how that's like completely different from FL-Studio. The only difference is the inputs and outputs of the audio signal, that's what gives a MPC it's sonic character. FL-Studio routed through an SSL sounds just as good. I couldn't agree with you more. I'll take MASCHINE over my MPC 2000XL any day.

LMFAO.... The MPC is just 1's and 0's like software. The only difference is the inputs give the sound a little added character. FL studio hooked up to a Apogee ensemble and a Avalon 737 sounds just as good if not better than a MPC. Drake - Miss Me Produced by Boi1da in FL-Studio listen to the instrumental it's fuckn insane! Fl needs to upgrade the sound engine. It sucks. otherwise the software has limitless opportunities.

Why dudes always knocking software? Why not just use hardware and software together. Its 2009, not 1984. The technology is here so why not use it?? Who cares what you use as long as its hot. I like some of quiks music, but he is sounding kinda silly. especially since a lot of dudes are making HITS using software.
