  • @RepublicOfVietnam Heh.. yea there's a tendency to obfuscate the fact. Saddam was not put there by the US. If I'm not mistaken he put himself there by assassinating the leader of the previous regime. That the US assisted his efforts against aggressors does not constitute "putting him there". After all, nations liase with other nations if it would serve the interest of it's people. It is the way of the world. People like Azzam knows that already.
