Robert Morse is THE J. Pierrepont Finch. The only other version I've seen is Matthew Broderick's, and he was fine. I'm sure Dan Radcliffe did great, too. Sometimes, though, nothing beats an original.

@pamoouru darren criss is taking over for several weeks, and then Nick Jonas is taking over after that. But, I agree. I haven't seen either radcliffe or broderick live, but from what I've heard/seen on youtube, they don't quite match morse.

I think Nick Jonas is taking over, isn't he? No offense meant to Radcliffe whom I saw 2 weeks ago in the show, and Broderick, but I just don't think they nailed the character of J.P. Finch the way Robert Morse did. Morse is a genuine triple threat! But I give them props for trying to succeed (bad pun intended) :-)

I love everyone who has played Finch on Broadway: Morse, Matthew Broderick, Daniel Radcliffe - all have done terrific jobs and made the character their own and now I can't wait to see how Darren Criss does when he takes over from Radcliffe in January, I think it is.
Great performance from Morse here!

I remember seeing Tom Bosley in CABARET!!! This is an awesome song... You can tell Mel Brooks was influenced by the HOW TO SUCCEED... even the "That Face" reference and some other scenes. You can also see how he's influenced other actors... Thanks for posting this gem!!!
