Joe:(he looked down at me) You doing okay?
Demi: Can we just go home?
Joe: Of course, anything you want.
Demi:(i crawled back to the passenger seat)
Joe:(he started driving away from Friendly's)
When they get back at Demi's house--
Demi's P.O.V
I looked over at Joe who was fast asleep, he was holding me in his arms, but i still couldn't fall asleep. I couldn't stop thinking, why would David choose Miley over me? It's just not right, she was my best friend. Best friends aren't supposed to date your boyfriend while you're still dating him, so i guess she wasn't my best friend or my friend. I couldn't help but feel the tears fall from my eyes. Joe slowly woke up groaning, i held him closer to me. I didn't want to let him go. Joe is just so amazing, he's always there for me, always. No matter what, no matter where he is. Joe rubbed my back letting me cry into his chest. He did things David never did for me, even though Joe was never my boyfriend. I held back the rest of my tears and looked into Joe's eyes. He raised one of his eyebrows making me giggle. He's such a cutie...wait did i just say that.

Joe's P.O.V
Demi and I laid there in each others arms. I felt so comfortable, i felt the sparks flying through the air, but i knew she would never feel the same. She thought of me as her best friend and only her best friend. "Joe, are you alright?" "Yeah Demz, i'm okay" that was a lie, a complete lie. Just like Demi, i'm heart broken. The person i'm in love with dosen't love me back. The person Demi's in love with dosen't love her back. We're the same in a lot of ways, which is why we're perfect for each other. She'll never see it, but i do.

Demi's P.O.V
It seems like somethings on Joe's mind, it seems like he's upset. Why would Joe be upset? He has everything, he's always been happy with his life. Unless, he could be hiding something from me! No, Joe and I tell each other everything, he wouldn't keep anything from me. Wait, would he?

Demi: Joe, are you hiding something from me?
Joe: What? No, i tell you everything (he lied, straight to my face)
Demi: Stop lying to me Joe! (i raised my voice slightly)
Joe: Fine! I am hiding something from you...
Demi: Wh-What is it?
Joe: It's not important....(he looked away from me)
Demi:(i turned his face toward me) Everything you say is important, you're my best friend.
Joe: I-I'm in love with the most amazing girl, but she dosen't love me back.
Demi: Who is it Joe?
Joe: It's you...(he whispered softly)
Demi: What?
Joe: I'm in love with you Demi! Okay, i've been in love with you forever! But all you see me as is your best friend! (tears filled his eyes)
Demi: No J-Joe you can't, that's not possible. Don't lie to me.
Joe: This is why i didn't tell you! (he ran out of my house slamming the door)
Demi: JOE! COME BACK! (i fell to the floor crying)

Demi's P.O.V
First i lose David, then Miley and now Joe. No, Joe can't leave me. I need him. I looked at the time, it's 10pm already! I can't just go out in the dark and look for him, but i have to! Where's my phone? I grabbed it from my night table and dialed Selena's phone number

Selena: Hello?
Demi: Hey Sel! (i was practically yelling into the phone)
Selena: Woah, quit with the yelling. I just woke up!
Demi: Sorry, but i need your help. And Nick's too....
Selena: It's after 10....but fine, cause you're my best friend. What's going on?
Demi: It's Joe! H-He told me he's in love with me, and then i said he was lying. And he got mad at me and stormed out of my house. I need help looking for him!
Selena: You're so stupid sometimes Demz. He's your best friend, you should know where he goes when he's upset!
Demi: But i'm scared to go alone i night....
Selena: Fine, Nick and I will be over in 5 minutes. Be on your steps when we get there.
Demi: Kay...(i hung up and ran downstairs quickly)
5 minutes later--
Nick:(he walked up to me on the steps) Come on, lets get going,
Demi: He probably hates me now...(we started walking towards the beach)
Selena: He loves you too much to hate you. And we all know you're little secret.
Demi: I don't have a secret! (i lied talking quickly....Joe's the one i love, not Daivd. i never loved david, i just liked saying i was)
Nick:(he chuckled) Oh yeah, you deffinately don't love Joe. (he pushed me being sarcastic)
Selena: Look, i see him! (she pointed out Joe sitting on the shoreline looking up at the sky. something you think a guy wouldn't do, but Joe can be sensitive)
Demi:(i suddenly got nervous and looked back at Selena and Nick) I-I can't do it.
Nick:(he smiled at me) Go Demz.
Demi:(i slowly walked up to Joe) Uh, um Joe?
Joe:(he looked over at me glaring) What do you want?
Demi: We need to talk.
Joe: No we don't, just go away Demz.
Demi:(i sat next to him) Joe...don't be like this.
Joe: Be like what?
Demi: Ignoring what happened at my house...ignoring our heartbreak.
