Holzy09 and Friends West Suburban Gold Conference Diving Meet 2010

INCOMING SUPER LONG DESCRIPTION!!!.... but please read? :)

Hey guys. I'm sorry i made a comeback vid, but then didn't, but diving is way more fun, and recording rock band became more of a chore than fun. I still play occasionally, but i'm not as good and don't like recording and grinding for FC's, so i'll only make vids of songs i really like and if i feel like it. sorry.

But this vid is pretty cool. The first four of us go to DGS and Jordan goes to HS. He's obviously much better than any of us, except maybe Ryan in the future.

Mike- Junior. obviously me. I messed up a couple (2nd and 3rd and 3rd to last) but overall a pretty good meet. I finished 3rd with a 370 something

Vik- Senior. His best overall 11 dive meet by far. He took 1st on the JV level and 5th overall with a score of about 330 something. he's never dove this well for an entire meet, and deserved more credit than he got. This was Vik's last high school meet, and it sucked to see him go. If anything, I'm glad i did diving so i got to be good friends with Vik.

Ryan- Freshman. kid is absolutely nuts. He's already like an elite gymnast, but was injured from it coming into the season, so he didn't even dive till the second week of winter break. first week back from break, he broke the freshman 6 dive record by 27 points, then beat his new record again a few weeks later with a 213. In this meet, he went 440 and beat the freshman (365) record set 5 years ago by a kid who got 5th in state his senior year. Not only that, but he beat the sophomore school record set by our own coach, Doctor Mark Antonoff (aka Doc), which had been standing at 419 something since 1972. (38 years!!) I have no doubt that Ryan will be a state Champion at least once before he graduates, if not multiple times. It's a joy to watch him dive.

Phil- Freshman Phil!!! I don't care what anyone says. He's not the best in this video. But if any of you saw where he started, you wouldn't be able to do anything but be proud of him. I'm looking forward to see how much better he can get next year too. oh and your welcome for the cool editing :)

Jordan- Senior. IMO, the best diver in the state (and i believe seeded #1). He set the new pool record by 60 points with a score of 560ish. He screwed up 3 or 4 dives tho. Just awesome to watch. There isn't anything i can say accept i've seen him drill all of those dives he missed in this meet. oh he got a ten on his 401b (inward dive pike)

Really quick, I personally think all our scores were inflated a good 40 points or so, but i'll take it.
