HIGH RISE STILL ALARM = 4 Engines, 4 Trucks, 3 Battalion Chiefs, 1 Squad, 1 ALS Ambulance, 1 EMS Field Officer.
This response is given on any report of a fire in a known high-rise building.

Better to throw everything at a hi-rise fire on the first alarm then be caught flat footed without enough resources.

yeah false alarms suck but you have to go. cuz you know the one time you don't, there will be an actual fire and the dept will be sued because someone was killed because the dept wasn't there doing its job. so whether you like it or not, you have to go to false alarms.

that is only half the full asinment for a repot of a fire in a hirise
the full assingment is
4 engines
4 trucks
4 battilon chiefs (still, plans & hi rise + medic chief)
1 squad (snorkel & box 2 rigs)
1 ambo
1 command van
i know i am missing something
