Sometimes I think I was born in the wrong country. Sure, I'm of Scott and Irish heritage, and look it with red hair and blue eyes. And all the names are there, Kelly, McFadin, ect. And yes, I know family history forwards and backwards, County Cork and all the names and dates. But when I hear music like this and I could listen all day. I realize just how much it's in me and it doesn't feel ancestral, it feels right now. Thanks for putting this up. Smiles, Ruth

James Kelly is my uncle and he's an awesome fiddle player! I don't get a chance to visit him now, because I stay busy with my three small ones, but I have fond memories of when I would get to visit as a child during the summer or on x-mas break, and he would play for me.

@capelstreetgal . I've caused some confusion, you are the second person to ask- I'm am neice of James' wife Eve. So I didn't grow up in Ireland, but I did grow up having the privledge of hearing him play music throughout the house when I would visit.

He is not only a master fiddler, but a master teacher as well... his teaching is uncommonly good...
Great video! When I heard this the first time, I contacted him to take lessons.
