I oppose the statehood bill for puerto rico just as much as Congressman Steve King does. Even if the "Stupid-Ricans" in Puerto-Rico vote for statehood, they wont get their wish granted right away, Why? because U.S congressman would have to approve it. And soo far, many U.S congressman including Steve King appose it.

and to kind of let you know the same thing is happening now with farmaceuticals which government was going to take a chance and make them pay taxes and like i said before this is only affecting more people economically wise. its the reason why unemployment continues to grow on the island.

actually no i live on the island have worked for a show factory which provided a good 3 hundred emploiyment opportunities here in my city of camuy and just to let you know that factroy left because taxes were being imposed on them. when the factory closed i had to travel to dominican republic to help with training. so unfortunately im very aware of whats going on here.

As for the Dominican Republic , I can tell your not Educated on the matter.

The Dominican Republic receives one of the largest pools of EU funding for development and infrastructure which makes it very attractive to foreign investors.

UMM just because puerto rico fought in wars doesnt mean it deserves statehood. thats why pro statehooders want statehood? please. being a state in puerto rico will not help in any way. its only going to scare more companies out, factories are closing thanks to statehood and unemployment continues to rise. look at what statehood has done to us. Tell me why Dominican Republic has been benefitting from this? puerto rico doesnt have a SOLUTION FOR AMERICA IN ANY SENSE
