(I'm the guy in the orange I:4 for reference) Majority of the Lledr's about the same size as the Tryweryn, though there are a couple of portages (which are easily portaged) a really tight slot that is very retentive and the first drop of the gorge. If you're comfortable with eddy hopping on the Tryweryn, you should be alright on this (but don't come complaining to me if it all goes wrong!).

Yeah, majority of us are river paddlers first and polo players second.

How long have you guys been paddling?
If you have paddled the tryweryn - do you think it's any bigger than the upper?
Cheers

Are you guys from Warwick Uni? I've come to have a quick look at you lot playing polo on Tuesday when I climb and never realised you might paddle rivers too :)
I've been paddling for 9 years now, this video is 1 year old. Do the maths. But we had a couple of people with 1-2 year experience.
Lledr is definitely harder, the other two about the same. In flood Lludwy is HARD, but it never usually happens. Don't think, just do it!

Which one exactly? Depending on the rain of course, Llugwy and Seiont are dead easy. If you had any experience on moving water you should be OK if the levels are low. On Seiont beware of the fisheremen, they are quite angry and swear a lot (after the mass tresspass). Lledr is altogether a more difficult river, still in my opinion not more than a grade 3+, possibly 4 in HIGH flows. Good Luck!!!
