nice knife i have owned 3 scallions, great knives. would they have any self deffense values to them.....

@hotbarrel49 I think any knife would have some aspect of self defense. It is all in how the operator deploys the knife and what their knowledge of self defense tactics are. The Scallion certainly has a long enough blade to do the job in any defensive situation but there would be other knives I would choose before it.

And btw the lock at the bottom, you can just tighten that screw so that it wont come forward and lock your knife when you don't want it too =]

@edgedweapon88 thanks for the advice.. i would never want to get into something with a knife but if i did i would prefer something bigger.( thats what she said) while saying that if i had to chooese somthing in the scallions size range i would chooses the scallion.... great review, keep it up

Love this little knife as well! Very sad to hear that Onion's contract was not renewed. I'm sure he'll write his own ticket elsewhere and I'll be spending quite a bit of money at that other company. Love his designs!
