I've been listening to this song more than 40 years.
This song was originally recorded by Robert Johnson in the 1930s, but I came to know this song through Cream's album 'Wheels of Fire' released in August 1968. Crossroads was recorded the Winterland Ballroom in San Francisco on 10 March 1968.
I always wanted to play this song ever since I listened to the Eric Clapton's smoking hot guitar solo. But until 6 months ago I had never got serious about it, because I always thought it would be impossible to play this. Once again I thought how one could die without playing this song if he/she once start playing the guitar. So I decided to try. It took me three months to learn each note by ear. Then I analyzed the finger positions to find the best move of left hands. I tried almost every possible picking to get right on the rhythm. And then practice, practice, practice... 6 months passed, but I still cannot nail it completely. Anyway this is where I am now. Maybe after 5 years or so, I will try this song again.

Its terrible that we have to add legal disclaimers now to stop some sad little copyright lawyer wanker getting his jollies off by contacting You Tube. Its also sad that You Tube cave in to these Nazis in suits who think playing/hearing something equals theft of it. Great work man. Fatastic tune covered extremely well. Thanks. Not sure I could have done it the way you did. I would have bought the music, watched some vids and worked it out that way, but it trains your ear doing it your way. Nice!

@DumblyBrilliant Thanks a lot, man! Yeah, I agree on the copy right fuss. It's so sad that many wonderful guitar hobbyists channels are being wiped out from Youtube completely. It's utterly nonsense. Their excellent videos do nothing but promote the original songs. I often buy the original songs, just because I get inspired by hobbyist's excellent videos and want to practice it by myself. Wiping out those great channels do only harm to the original artists.
