Police Dog Training - Sit Means Sit at Florida Police Ex

Sit Means Sit location owner and K-9 Handler Bob Burnell, is shown here with his personal dog Kody. This is a very slippery floor that we are working on, which is also great training for the dog. You never know what type of environment that you are going to be subjected to when we are at these public demonstrations, and the floor in this case is a good example. We train for just about any situation on a regular basis, and this is very consistent with police dog training in general, since they also never know the exact environment when a police K9 handler is sent on a call. This is true with a lot of things in regular pet dog training as well. You can't control the environment, so you need to be able to control your dog. This Police dog training video was taken at the 2008 South Florida Police Expo where Sit Means Sit trainers did numerous demonstrations over the 2 days of the event. Sit Means Sit dog training assists the public and police dog handlers in controlling their dogs in practically any environments without raising their voices.
