i have seen a movie in the 60s that first played this music. all the while i thought it was "two for the road". but when i saw "two for the road" again a month ago, this music wasn't there. could anyone please tell me what movie that was? thank you.

One of the most felicitous marriages of words and music ever. Notice that the shifts in ideas are accompanied by unexpected harmonic changes as well. At 1:07 the suspended E flat 7th to the A 13th then quickly to the D Major 9th for the title words is heartbreaking. Yet, despite its beauty and brilliance, the song has "flown under the radar" for decades . . . except among us devotees. Thanks, Jokarilon, for posting.
