Continuing the in-depth look at my DVD collection...

Kind of a mixed bag this time around as I finally finish going through the first bookshelf of DVDs - most of my 80's and 90's cartoons, kid's shows, some classics, and a few of my anime titles.

And to cap it off, we take a look at some cool book sets I've got on display.

Well i am 13 years old and used to buy hundreds of VHS's movies when I was a kid. well make my parents buy them for me. and had about 1000. Then I outgrew VHS's and switched to DVD's. I only have like 50. I have 6 blu-rays.I am just starting out and do not have alot of spare money for this purpose. Because I have an outstanding expensive game collection more then a thousand games with 32 systems. So I was looking for advice for if I should try to continue my collection for DVD's and blu-ray's

@Creater521 Well, it's really up to you. Sounds like your main passion is gaming, so maybe just focus mainly on that and get the odd favorite on DVD or Blu-ray.

i have over 1000 games , and over 500 dvds and nearly 100 vhses ,

all good movies no crap

@ninendowii2000 Cool. I haven't counted my games, but I've got PS1, PS2, PS3, 3DO, Colecovision and Atari 2600 games along with a lot of PC games. I used to own a Sega Genesis with Sega CD as well, but stupidly sold it many years ago. I have nearly 700 DVDs (many of which are multi-disc sets, the actual total disc count is over 1500), I have about 1000 VHS and about 30 Laserdisc. Oh, and EVERYONE has some crap in their collection. I happen to enjoy a good crappy movie from time to time.

Epic collection man, im sure its doubled by now. Lets see i have around 750 dvds, 1,200 games and 1,100 vhs's im getting there slowly but surely lol ^_^

@1981jilly As do I! You support the releases that way, often get better quality, and you have something nice to display on your shelf. :) The only anime I download is stuff that isn't available any other way, like fansubs of shows that will likely never see the light of day on DVD. But that's the same for anything. If it's something I like and it's available, I buy it.

nice DVDs. It is a lot. It is Illegal to download episodes online. I rather buy. I do mostly kid stuff and movies when I shop.

Wow, impressive collection. It must have cost a small fortune to collect all the movies you have. How can you have watched all of them?? I have so many anime and cartoon series/movies I'd like to see but I don't find the time and I see something new which makes me think "wow, I shoud check that one out too" each day!
