A video update on work underway to my 1978 MCI MC-8 Motorcoach. Once finished inside, the bus is to be painted to resemble Air Force One, like Ground force One pictured in the video. The stainless steel on the sides of the bus will be polished to a mirror like finish as on the old 707 version that carried the Presidents up to Ronald Reagan. Eight polised Alcoa aluminum wheels will be installed as well, and I should then have one of the most unique motorhomes at the camp ground. Thanks for watching.

  • Nice bus what kind of mileage do you get?

  • @wpmacyt If one behaves themselves with speed, I am able to get 11mpg with this coach. If driven over 70mph it goes down to 8mpg, but does awesome at 65. Thanks for watching and commenting

  • Nice job, paint scheme isn't my taste, but very nice otherwise. Wish I had the skills to convert my own, but alas I had to buy mine. Take a look. :)

  • @Yankee802 Bus still has the commercial paint job. Outside work is to be done later

  • I just looked at a finished MC-8 this weekend while at a Bus Nuts Rally and he really wished he had raised his roofline. The lack of headroom makes his feel quite cramped. Also, be sure to use an MC-9 Radiator to prevent the MC-8's overheating Problems.... Are you going to move away from the 2-stroke Detroit for more reliability? Check the date code on those tires too! dont let them get over 7 years old!!

  • Traveling by Greyhound is more stressful than driving, flying, and railroad.

  • Very nice bus! I want one like that. Do you know how much it could cost to rebuild a 8v71, and the tranny? Most busses like this for sale I,m thinking needs engine and or tranny rebuilds.

  • luv the 8's
