This is actually a two part video for a class I teach in therapeutic communication. This is the example of poor communication techniques (obviously) which we discuss after watching. Then, I show the other video which is an example of good communication technique and we again discuss. So, yes, I agree that this one is depressing and not a way to engage someone in a therapeutic conversation.
