Diwakar Vadapalli is a Case Western Reserve University PhD graduate and former teaching assistant at The Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences. His research and work at the Center on Urban Poverty and Community Development has been enriched by studying in Cleveland's cultural mecca. Originally from Srikakulam, India and having spent time in places as far apart as Kansas and Alaska, he lived in downtown Cleveland with his wife, Manjula, and commuted to the Circle on the HealthLine everyday. Diwakar completed the MSASS doctoral program in summer 2011 and accepting a faculty position as Assistant Professor at the University of Alaska.
