I got home and got in through the window quietly and layed on my bed, wondering who it was. It was around 4:30 am when i finally fell asleep.

I woke up at 7:30 "darn! i overslept!" I started to run around trying to get ready.

When i was done i looked in the mirror. "eh, not my best but its not like the boys look at me anyways." I ran to school and got there out of breath. I stopped at my locker to take a breather. People stared at me like i was nuts. haha. I got my stuff and and headed to class.

I passed by Nick and all he did was glance at me with neither a smirk, or anything else. Just a blank look on his face.

I took my seat near the front and Nick sat in the back corner. I turned around to look at the clock which was above Nick's head. 9:13 it read. I glanced at Nick and he was playing with his hands but it looked as if he was thinking really hard.

"SELENA!" the teacher yelled at me.

I turned around slowly, "y-yes?"

"Turn around and pay attention" I heard snickering come from other kids. I turned real quick to see if Nick was laughing.

Nope. He was still playing with his hands. I turned back around, " What is up with him? " I said to myself.

---After School---
I walked home like any other day.

I walked in through the door and my mom was waiting for me.

"hi." i said quietly.

"Where have you been?" she asked. I could tell she was drunk... again. Ugh i'm getting tired of this.

"Um, school?"

"What took you so long to get here?"

"The s-school is, um, far away from here and i had to walk home."

"Are you being a smart mouth?"

"No." She got up and walked up to me and threw me against the wall and punched me in my stomach.

"Get home sooner next time," she said.

"O-okay," I said as a single tear ran down my face.

She walked into the kitchen probably getting another beer.

I went up to my room and slit my wrists a few more times. I was begining to get addicted to cutting myself. As long as I don't loose too much blood, I should be fine.

---Next Day at School---

I walked in through the doors and i felt somebody pull me by my wrist.(the one she cut) I flinched a little then turned to see who it was. It was Nick.

"I'm sorry did i pull you too hard?" He said.

Sure I'll go with that. I nodded.

"Sorry. Um, can i talk to you?" he said.

WHAT WILL HAPPEN NEXT?
WHAT DOES NICK HAVE TO SAY TO SELENA?
WHAT WILL SELENA'S MOM DO NEXT?
WILL SELENA KEEP CUTTING?
