Strawberry Fields performed and arranged by Leah Coloff

LOVE for a place that even thinking about brings you back to yourself.

I learned this song to sing for The Secret City's Wonder Walk which happens every September spanning the island of Manhattan and touring the special places of the city. One of which is Strawberry Fields in Central Park. You can't actually play in Strawberry Fields because it is a designated quiet zone so I played under a nearby stone bridge.
When learning the song, I discovered that Strawberry Fields was a place that John Lennon had loved as a child, but the verses of the song are about how he felt he never fit in.
Hopefully we all have a place that can bring us back to the wonder and beauty of the world.
