The Carnegie Mellon University Motion Capture Database was funded by a grant from the National Science Foundation. It contains over 2600 complex human motions. I have taken this data which was made available in July 2008 and translated it into BVH files with Poser Skeleton Bones and adjusted the joint rotations to work in Poser. These are high quality bvh files that can be used in Poser as animations.
Because of the volume due to the number and size of the animations, they have been broken into dozens of downloads available here on Share CG. Each zip file has a text document that describes all the files that are available in all the downloads. If you are interested in how to use these and how they were created visit http://mojodallas.blogspot.com/ to read the blog or visit my website at http://www.mojodallas.com/ to follow the adventures of a fellow modeler and animator in his adventures in the Metaverse.

The "poser ready" versions don't really work with poser figures.

Hello mojoDallas, please upload all 2600 BVH animations here to this channel. But before that clean them all up with the Poser-Animation-Palette, put every figure really on the ground and stop the trepidation. When you are ready send a message. Thank you and have a great day!

Hello, i'm on the run to find really complete BVHs for Poser without any errors like jitter or wrong arm or feet positions. You have corrected some of the BVHs from here and i can have some?
