porto santo is a destiny for those people that work very hard in the winter. Please, Canaria, i went there two times and i will not return there.the beaches have a horrible smell.Emotions! we have that all the time. porto santo have a excelent beach, very clean. if you want peace and sun go to porto santo. i want to go there again.

What a rarity in the world these days; an oasis of peace and beauty - I was there in 2000 - it still seems like a dream... I'd love to go back. Simple, rustic, historic. Birthplace and childhood home of Christopher Columbus, a fact few know.

"Boring"... that's the best holiday endorsement if one is looking for rest, tranquility and quality holidays, away from boring people who's idea of fun is loud music and binge drinking.
Never been to Porto Santo, but I love Madeira; sounds like paradise, will definetly give it go.

I just hope it stays like the way it is now. Porto Santo doesn't want to be like the Gran Canaria or south of Spain. People come here because of the beach and because it is a quiet place and not too crowded.
