Ben Roundtree, Instrumental Director at the McLean Bible Church in Northern Virginia said it best. If Dr. Hsu's friends and family scheduled a memorial service on a Sunday, more than half of the churches in the Eastern United States would be missing their musical directors at their Sunday services in order to attend. God bless Dr. Hsu and God bless Ben Roundtree for saying something so elegant.

Beautiful playing! I'm so sad to hear about Dr Hsu's death. I will miss seeing him. May he hear the Lord's welcome: 'Well done, good and faithful servant...Enter into the joy of your master.'

How envious I am that, at this very moment, Dr Hsu is sharing the company of Bach and Luther and countless other godly musicians...What heavenly music they must be making in the presence of their Creator!

Dr. Samuel Hsu, Philadelphia Biblical University’s Distinguished Professor of Music and Chair of Keyboard studies, died this afternoon from injuries sustained when he was hit by a car in Center City Philadelphia on Thursday morning. While it is a sad day for our University and the PBU Community, we rejoice that Dr. Hsu is with the Lord.
