So he had to clean the school - that is a pretty cool punishment if you ask me. I know of a japanese girl who had with their friends to stay after hours and mop the floors and clean the desks because they misbehaved. Now in Europe they should do it - not maybe for minor things but serious things. Punishments in the UK are bizzare - like throwing kids out of school and beating them like its the 1940´s or something.
