Naked man was friend of the band and part time Pulp bass player Antony Genn, who now fronts his own band, The Hours.
They are very good btw
-
@RendonHead I saw them support Juliana Hadfield at the Garage in Camden 1993.

I was at the front for this, got bloody concussion from being kicked in the head all the time! Jarvis Cocker was watching from the crowd to the left as well.

I would love to see Elastica live for 1,000 years

Freakin' Excellent! This band was so good live, and the Gods were shining down on Glastonbury that year.

I was such a huge fan of Elastica. Probably the least gigging known band ever. From when they were first heard of until the end, they only did about 3 shows in London. Shepherds Bush in 1995 (I was there), another one for a charity (if I remember right) in Kentish Town or somewhere? Then much later (post-Donna) at the Astoria. So only 2 shows during their heyday. I also saw them in Brighton, and I met Justine and Donna afterwards. Got their autographs and chatted. Both very nice. Great band.
