August 16, 2011: While pushing towards the goal of a 700-lb. deadlift, I'm following a guideline designed for Elite athletes called Prilepin's Table. This workout called for 4 sets, with 2 reps per set. I chose to use 595 lbs., which is 90% of my one-rep max. This is set no. 4. These workouts take a real toll on the CNS, but the payoff will hopefully be worth it. This was a personal record with the completion of set numbers 3 and 4.
