How To... Play As Infected On Left 4 Dead 2 Demo & Full Game (PC Only) (Updated)

Hi everyone, this video will tell you all how to play as infected on the Left 4 Dead 2 Demo and the Full Game on singleplayer and multiplayer.

DETAILED STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS:-

1- Click this link, http://www.mediafire.com/?t1lqm1n49n7bmdb (NEW WORKING LINK). This link will take you to a webpage called where you can download the Infected Plug-In.

2 - Click the download button on the right hand side to download the "Infected Plugin for L4D2 Demo", the download may take up to a minute or two to begin.

3 - Save the file "L4D2 InfectedPlugin.zip" to desktop.

4 - Extract the "L4D2 InfectedPlugin.zip" to desktop.

**IF YOU KNOW HOW TO EXTRACT .zip FILES THEN IGNORE STEP 5 AND CONTINUE TO STEP 6, BUT IF YOU DON'T KNOW HOW TO EXTRACT .zip FILES, READ STEP 5, THEN CARRY ON**

5 - To extract the files, download WinRAR from here - http://www.rarlab.com/download.htm (choose 1st or 2nd download). Once you've installed WinRAR, right click on the "InfectedPlugin.zip" that you should have downloaded earlier in this How To... video then click "Extract To InfectedPlugin", this will extract the files to your desktop.

6 - Copy all the files within the unzipped folder to. "C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\left 4 dead 2 demo\left4dead2" and paste the files you just copied. Also goto this directory "C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\left 4 dead 2 demo\left4dead2\addons" and paste the same files there.

7 - Open the program Steam (you should already have Steam installed).

8 - Go to the "My Games" section in Steam and right click on the Left 4 Dead 2 Demo, then click properties.

9 - A New window will appear. You should see a button that says "Set Launch Options...", click it and type -console then click ok.

10 - Now Launch the Left 4 Dead 2 Demo.

11 - When you get to the main menu, you'll see a new window. This is the console, you don't need this quite yet. Click on Singleplayer or Campaign and start game (console will disappear when you click either of these).

12 - Once game has loaded, click the ` key on your keyboard, this is the key under the Escape (Esc) button on a standard UK keyboard. This will cause the console to reappear. Type these commands into console (remember to press enter after every command):-

plugin_cvar sb_all_bot_team 1

plugin_allow_remote_commands 1

set_infected 1

13 - You should now spawn as infected. However, if you want to return to being survivor, open the console and type:-

set_infected 0

14 - With this new infected plug-in, it is alot easier to use. Here are a list of buttons that you can press on your keyboard and a list of things these specific buttons will do.

F3 = Load Parish Level 1
F4 = Load Parish Level 2
F6 = Play As Infected
F7 = Toggle Freeze Survivors
F8 = Warp Survivors To Reticle
F9 = Toggle Survivors God Mode
F10 = Kill Yourself
F11 = Spawn As Tank When Dead
F12 = Spawn As Charger When Dead
