  • bart is a really good system but it could have been a hell of alot better if they spent ALL that money that they made from the years of it operating into usefull stuff. It's also getting REALLY old now and they have done very little to properly maintian the tracks. they apparently have a 4 million dollar rail grinder to silence the noises the system makes on the rails. Looks like they haven't used it at all. Because it is still noisy as hell. Especially through the main line

  • it would be FAR easier for the riders if BART would just built traditional track that is electrified, No transferring, no BS. i know it costs at least 1 billion or so more, but it's cheaper in the end. No diesel engines to maintian, just regular bart rolling stock. straight towards brentwood with an antioch, pittsburgh and oakley station. also, Bart should be privatized, They should of had these projects done YEARS ago but unfortunately it's ran by bad administrators and board members.

  • A 3 minute transfer does not mean that two trains sit side-by-side on the platform for 3 minutes. In fact, trains only board for 20 seconds. A 3 minute transfer means you have 3 minutes to get to the right platform before the train comes.

  • I do not get what this is supposed to show or prove

  • What simulator is this?

  • Wow those are really nice looking trains. If only regular old BART could look that nice.. people would mess up the interiors though :(

  • i would say to try to make it all ebart

  • If the eBART system is ever built, I believe it will consist of standard-gauge DMU's, thus requiring the transfer to/from the current broad-gauge BART electric trains.
