Nick (brown leather jacket) bought this bike in the early 1970`s. This video is of it in 1997 after a full restoration. Nick still owns this bike today (2009).

  • How tall can one be to ride this bike? I'm considering buying 1 but I'm 1.85m and am afraid it would be to small for me.

  • @Silver912targa

Nick (brown jacket) is just over 6 foot not overly large. The man in the white is me i`m 5 foot 9inches just right.

  • @Silver912targa my father is 6'2 and rides triumphs for the seat height thanks to having long legs... I on the other hand cant because even at 6'7+ I only have a maybe 30 inch inseam... Ive seen some small guys ride em but mostlly people with long legs preffer triumphs

  • I've got one; I'm 6'2" (1.82) and "fairly heavy" and don't feel at all uncomfortable on it. Compared to my modern machines the weight's further back and lower, its more like a dirt bike than a road bike (its very maneuverable)(great for canyon roads).

  • well done

  • Thanks for that info.

  • tire is installed correctly, Metzeler Lasertecs are run with tread that direction. beautiful motorcycle...

  • Very nice bike, love it. Could the front tire be the wrong way round?
