There is a difference between "to speak japanese" and to "pronounce" japanese.
And japanese, due to it's lack of complex phonemes (?), should be quite easy to pronounce for anyone fluent in a language, which has all the phonemes of the japanese language.

even though its not perfect, its actually good for an attempt, also they cant even speak japanese so its a pretty big thing for them
