Columbia High School Failure

This video is an attempt to address issues in our public education and judicial system. Due to recent controversy regarding sexual abuse at Syracuse and Penn State University, I have decided to share the tragic story of abuse and violence at my old high school.

watt made me cry by calling me a sissy, weak and fat in front of other students in six grade, and saying that any student who could not do a chin up was a useless human. Yet he was there at Goff Junior High when I graduated up to that. and I had him. and I had him again, every year of high school. and my parents wonder why I skipped so much? The place was horrible. There were predators there preying on the weak and people knew it and did NOTHING.

@onianabanana The administrators who know did not do "NOTHING" they went as far to cover it up adn thats why Watt was moved. I'm sorry to hear your story, its far to common for CHS alumni. Watts verbal attacks on you show how uneducated he was because ALL PEOPLE have immense value. I bet Alexander Fleming and Charles Darwin couldn't do many chin-ups, but they made some of the greatest contributions to our world and the fact that Watt can't appreciate that is sad to say the least

This was very well said Sean. The tragedy of attending that Hell School nearly killed me and a number of my closest friends. We lived in an environment of misery, bullying, and mistrust from the administration even b4 the shootings. We were subjected to tenured assholes who didn't give a shit and/or who actively exploited their authority and power to make student's lives hell. &an administration who put the school's image above the reality of the student's lived experience at all costs.

@onianabanana many students suffered from depression & anxiety. The administrators did NOTHING, which instilled a sense of Learned Helplessness that I hope you've been able to rise above. Viktor Frankl said "Despair=Suffering w/out Meaning" so now that we're adults its our responsibility to inform our local community of the danger still present in that prison-like place. By doing so, our Suffering gains Meaning and we can abstain from Despair. Please spread this video everyone

Nice work! Everything you claim about East Greenbush Central School District is very true and you got my word and experience to back that up! They also treat special eduction students like crap, hurt their eduction, and abuse them as well. And you can't spell blue devil without evil!

Very true in many cases. As an educator I am appalled by the fact that my fellow educators in Columbia were blatantly abusing their power and trying to cover-up sex offenders; this is as bad as what the pope did with the sex offending priests.
