  • The one war that nobody seems to care about. :(

  • In most cases the Germans omit things from their movies... which is why DAS BOOT was one of the first if not THE first war movie made from the German Perspective and for the German People that was honest and real, and it was a Smash Hit world wide.

I cant imagine how horrible it must have been to be a WWII vet from Germany and be demonized for serving his country heroicly... never forget that the German soldier was a 17 year old kid with a mother and father too.

  • Am I the only to notice that in history class, you learn about WW1 for maybe a few days but WW2, vietnam, revolutionary, mexican, and just about every other war we learn about for a week and a half to two?

  • nice to see so many comments about the video. I enjoyed it at least

  • Love this movie <3

Nice sound with it. It realy makes me sad. :(

  • @Dithrick indeed, people forget it too easy,

they forget how the man fought brave and courageous. They forgot the real heros,

not only the persons who survived (soldiers and civilians), but also the death people, and the wounded guys. What about the people who were maimed for the rest of their lives.

Mayt hey rest in peace, and I hope more people will remind them. They liberated Belgium :)

  • American soldiers were equipped with obselete weapons and played a very minor and short part in WW1, the british are portrayed as the main fighting machine with their canadian allies. This is not enitrely true! 1 in 9 of british/commwealth casualties WERE british but the other 8 were from foreign colonies, mainly india, canada, new zealand and australia.

  • im gonna guess that your a brit..you see you go on and on about how the war hurt your country but you dont mention that these soldiers tht "didnt play a part in this war" saved your fucking lives..you see when you good for nothing brits and those pussy frogs were tired and lost all will to fight..these gung-ho 17 year old men saved your country and ended the war in less than a year..so b4 going off and saying we didnt play a role in the war think of the men who fought for democracy nd thank them

  • yer we had the highest casualty rate of 65% of our whole army were injured or killed yet we barely get any recognition by the larger countries of britain and usa (who take all the creditfor the wins)

  • war*
