I see a Boost Guage, Wideband AFR, Not sure what else but I'm guessing oil pressure, possibly oil temp, and whatever else it's all crucial to knowing if the engine is functioning properly. Nothing wrong with knowing what's going on in your car.
Any real tuner uses gauges unless he wants his shit to blow up.

it sounds like , but its actualy becaus I had the BOV ajusted the wrong way and would stard bleading off at around 13 PSI and go right into osilation
