This is a Chrysler Sebring being painted PW1. The side of the car was damaged, repaired and primed prior to paint. Body filler was used to repair the dents under the primer. The paint being used is BASF RM Onyx waterborne paint. It is cleared with glasurit 923-109.

  • great videos.

  • I'm I here to watch him mix paint or to watch it dry? Both seem equally tortuous. There is NO how to in this video. The sound sucks and he is not passing any info to the viewer. I think I could do as well with a #2 string mop. His mother must have been Hellen Keller. He is just as blind-no light in the booth to speak of.

  • @hotboijd It really depends on who is mixing the formula. i.e. how accurate he is, does he maintain his tints? Plus or minus .1 gram on many formulas can drastically affect the desired outcome.

  • @lleather Color chips for Diamont (basf) are all sprayouts with clear, not photographed.

  • that car def had to be orange peeled to hell the way u walk with the gun to is worthless!

  • what tip and what pressure do you spray solvent based clear? and is your fan all the way wide open?

  • you can never trust color chips - they're photographed - the human eye is your best bet to match colors - color expert here.

  • @filowfulwaffle What product are you spraying?

  • If i am getting excessive orangepeel in my clear (from my inexperience spraying) can it be wet sanded out and polished? or does it need to be resprayed?

  • @lastpushbutton

yeah i agree, it stops the clear from building up at the door edges, he is a very good confident applicator, one the best on here i have seen
