Prayer, its kind of like a relationship between and pitcher and a catcher in baseball. You see, anyone who knows anything about baseball, knows that pitchers rarely ever call the shots, it starts with the catcher. The catcher knows almost everything there is to know about each batters tendencies and weaknesses. Catchers play every day; pitchers may only pitcher once every five days and see the same batters around 10 times a year. The catcher signals in the pitch that he wants, the pitcher prepares the throw and than releases it to the catcher. The catcher is both the origin and the termination of the action. I believe that our prayer lives are like this as well.
