  • Much respect for Senator Sanders, he tells it how it is and is for the working class of america. I just wish there were more people like him in our government.

  • Why aren't those tea party turds all riled up over this?

  • Welcome the monster that you create (CAPITALISM), is good to enforce your own politics to other countries but when fire back is no good, suffer now, you harvest what you grow.

I don't get why we can't control the shipping, selling, marketing and designing etc. of goods and let others do most of the manufacturing. Even if their are less jobs in those sectors, the world market should be large enough for those jobs to employ most of our workforce.

Also, do you think we could control shipping, selling, marketing, designing etc. to foreign markets?

  • Outsourcing: Might make 4 some good capitalism, but it also makes for some terrible patriotism! (Not to mention not being a good neighbor, citizen, & human. - Outsourcing hurts US citizens.. AND contributes 2 the low standards 4 workers in other countries! - If every1 boycotted supporting work in countries w/ these low standards, then they be forced 2 fix them.. AND THEN the playing feild would be far more even as well.. So outsourcing wouldnt be as beneficial for companies 2 do anyway. Right??)

  • Not properly legislating fiscal accounting is the primary reality of our demise. Most of Us have one thing in common, our stomachs are getting empty and it is getting worse, not better. Politicians can't just be "busy" in times of crisis, they must PRODUCE RESULTS.

Unemployed US IT worker, (first time my 34 year career).

    1995 to 2005 - 110k to 115K per year

    2006 to 2007 - 85K per year

    2008 25K - per year

2009 5K - per year (unsustainable at current cost of living)

  • i will, and do pay more for American made stuff.

i buy from a home improvement store that advertises WHICH state in USA product is made.

regular folks are brainwashed into Wall Street stock pyramid scheme. only the folks at the top of the pyramid win.

  • Check out Walgreens corporate office in Chicago. They have hundreds of Indians working there.

  • During the Bush years, America's main exports were death, destruction, and war. Defense spending remains our governments largest jobs program. Cheap labor and low wages simplifies the military's search for recruits. If Wall Street has its way, the decline of the American empire is assured.
